Brett Beninger - General Manager

Bio coBrett Beninger- After spending the past 8 years in the Calgary restaurant industry working for companies such as Joey Tomatoes, Penny Lane Entertainment and Boston Pizza he has come to us ready to put his own touch on a concept.  With fresh new ideas Brett is always looking to stay ahead of the competitor bringing in things like an exclusive cocktail menu and a Vodka Passport.  His vision for loungeburger is to one day turn it into a multi-location company that stretches from Vancouver to Toronto.

Brian West - Partner

Brian has owned and operated a number of successful ventures in Calgary, most notably he was a founder and former major shareholder of the Vintage Steakhouse and has been major shareholder and operator of the trendy Vicious Circle since inception.

Arun Chandrasekaran - Partner

Arun is currently a Vice President at a Canadian investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions and equity financings in the oil and gas space. Arun is a creative and imaginative young financial professional who brings a new vision to the Calgary restaurant scene.

Travis Wood - Partner

Travis works as a research analyst with a global investment bank, focusing on oil and gas companies. Previously, Travis worked in commodity marketing and trading at a supermajor, where he leveraged his interpersonal skills and ambition to develop key relationships with clients - something he continues to maintain on a personal level.

Head Chef

Scott Jefferson

A classically trained chef, with a passion for food, Scott Jefferson brings over ten years of diverse culinary experience that has been acquired by working in kitchens of many different backgrounds and styles. Scott graduated from SAIT's apprenticeship program in Culinary Arts at the top of his class. Through positions as Sous-Chef for Big Rock Grill and at La Chaumiere, Scott gained an extensive repertoire of exciting cooking styles. Scott's extensive knowledge of ingredients combined with a unique style of "fresh" cuisine brings a rare talent to the loungeburger team that has been critical in the creation of the loungeburger menu.
